Introducing…Twig Create

The new video creation tool offer unique learning experiences for students

Twig Education today announced that it is taking another major step forward in disrupting the traditional textbook publishing space by adding integrated video projects to its award-winning program. This new feature will enable teachers to instantly assign and manage curriculum-linked video projects directly within the product. Each video project includes curated footage, clear instructions, and drag-and-drop editing tools—providing students with a powerful way to demonstrate their learning. Finished videos will be posted to a secure video wall where teachers can assess the projects and provide direct feedback to learners. Twig Education is partnering with Binumi, a leading video platform provider, to create and deliver the Integrated Video Projects.

Catherine Cahn, CEO of Twig Education stated “Media literacy is a critical 21st-century skill; students must not only know how to consume media critically and intelligently, but also how to create it. Bringing video projects into the classroom that combine creative skills, secure controls and educational outcomes answers all these needs.”

Speaking about the partnership, Anthony Copping, CEO and Founder of Binumi stated, ‘We are passionate about helping all people—especially children—create compelling videos. We are delighted to work with Catherine and the Twig Education team to bring video storytelling to more than 350,000 students around the globe.”

Twig’s Integrated Video Projects will launch this spring.
